- What EXACTLY can I do with the Real Audio/Video feature that comes free with my account ?
ANSWER: - Here is what you get:
1. You get the RIGHT to put real audio/video files on your site, and have them available for download.
2. You get the ability to have real files on your site, where a visitor to your site can click on the link, and IF THEY HAVE THE REAL PLAYER, the real file will open in the REAL PLAYER and play as it downloads.
HERE IS WHAT YOU DO NOT GET:
1. You DO NOT get RealServer software. Our servers do not have the RealServer software running on them, thus, you CANNOT run a Radio Station, or some type of constantly running broadcast of any kind.
2. You DO NOT get any assistance in creating real files.
3. You DO NOT get any tutorial or instruction on how to link real files in your site, how to upload them, or any other instructions not ALREADY covered here in our online manual.
4. You DO NOT get any assistance from our techs on real issues, or issues related to the real audio/video. Real Audio is a THIRD PARTY piece of software, and thus if you need support or instruction or tutorial on it, you MUST contact Real.com. ADDITIONALLY, since we do not have the RealServer software on our servers, THERE IS NO WAY that there can be a problem with real audio/video on OUR SERVERS, because we don't even have the software... in other words, there is nothing to break.
