Info on File Transfer Protocol(FTP)

QUESTION:
Can I view/edit/access HIDDEN FILES (.htaccess, etc.) using FTP ?

ANSWER:
Most FTP clients will not let you view the hidden files in the listing of your files.

Most FTP clients do however let you manually name the file you want to retrieve and if it's there it will get it for you.

I would not suggest doing anything with the hidden files though as there is a reason they are hidden.
