- Hi I see that you allow 5gb of traffic a month. Can you explain that to me in terms I can understand. Does that mean site hits? How many site hits would that be? How many are we allowed a month? What is bandwith and how much do we get and how do we use bandwith? Would normal traffic use bandwith? Please help to clarify this for me .
ANSWER: - 1 GIG of traffic/bandwidth is:
1,000,000 bytes of information.
That is about 100,000 hits...
so, 5 gigs is about 500,000 hits per month.
Of course, email, cgi, gifs, etc all add to that, but that is a good base for you to start to understand :) ############################################################ Please be advised that this is a SUPPLEMENTAL Online Manual.
