CATEGORY: Control Panel Feature - Password Protection

QUESTION:
I have protected a dir, but, when I go there, I am prompted to put my username and password in twice... what is wrong ?

ANSWER:
Nothing is actually wrong.
This is a BUG in SOME Internet Explorer versions.
There is NOTHING you can do about this.
This will not happen on ALL COMPUTERS.
This is NOT A PROBLEM ON OUR SIDE... it is a problem with the software you are using to browse your website.
