- QUESTION:
- I'm using the site creation tool, and trying to use a background image that I uploaded. It seems that the directory shown, "images/uploads" is NOT the same as "/home/test/test-www/images/uploads", so I have no idea how to upload an image so that it will appear on the images/uploads list that the site creation tool provides. Perhaps you could help me out?
ANSWER: - This is very easy.
From Site Creation Tool>
CLICK ON> Upload/Import
Then Upload A File From Your PC
AFTER you have uploaded it, go back to the:
Site Editor
AND click on the page you want to edit,
NOW CLICK ON> Bkgrnd Image
And, now under Navigate:
CLICK on the TOP LEVEL Directory, usually called:
Images/
this will change the drop down menu options, and now select:
Uploads/
FROM the drop down menu...
now, you will be able to select your IMAGE. ############################################################ Please be advised that this is a SUPPLEMENTAL Online Manual.
The PRIMARY Online Manual is inside your Online Control Panel... to access it, just click Documentation link at very bottom of Online Control Panel screen.
You should always consult the Online Manual inside your control panel first... and only consult this SUPPLEMENTAL Online Manual as a last resort.
